Discharge refrigerant:
1) Use pliers to cut off charging tube.
2) Discharge all refrigerant toward the
exhaust vent.
Melt brazing material with flame and pull processing tube out using a pair of pliers.
Re-braze a copper tube onto processing tube of compressor.
Install quick connector onto rebrazed pipe.
Inject nitrogen of 1.57Mpa through quick connector into pipe.
Test brazed joints in compressor niche for leaks with soapy water.
DIAGNOSIS 1
PROCEDURE 1
Clean paint off of brazed joint.
Cut off brazed joint with leakage.
Use a bigger copper tube to connect 2 ends of brazed joint.
Braze the 2 ends.Please get more details of brazing requirements on Annex B1.
CHECK AND TEST 2
Inject 1.57Mpa nitrogen through quick connector into pipe and apply soapy water to test for leaks again.
DIAGNOSIS 2
PROCEDURE 2
Remove all drawers.
Remove all shelves.
Remove the vertical
partition plate:
a. Insert 2mm slotted
screwdriver into
the gap.

plate from bottom;
e. Pull the bottom end of
cover out;
f. Pull the top of the
cover out;
g. Take pipes out and pull them into a
horizontal position;
h. Push the latch down
and lift top out of the
cavity;
i. Push the latch up and
pull bottom out of the
cavity;

PROCEDURE 3
Clean paint off of brazed joint.
Cut off brazed joint with leakage.
Use a bigger copper tube to connect 2 ends of brazed joint.
Braze the 2 ends.Please get more details of brazing requirements on Annex B1
CHECK AND TEST 3
Inject 1.57Mpa nitrogen through quick connector into pipe and apply soapy water to test for leaks again.
DIAGNOSIS 4
CHECK AND TEST 4
Braze a piezometer onto processing tube of compressor.
Charge nitrogen of 1.57Mpa through quick connector into pipe.
Perform leakage test on brazing points and piezometer.
DIAGNOSIS 5
CHECK AND TEST 5
Check to find possible leakage point.
DIAGNOSIS 6
PROCEDURE 4
Clean paint off of brazed joint.
Cut off brazed joint with leakage.
Use a bigger copper tube to connect 2 ends of brazed joint.
Braze the 2 ends.Please get more details of brazing requirements on Annex B1.
CHECK AND TEST 6
Inject 1.57Mpa nitrogen through quick connector into pipe and apply soapy water to test for leaks again.
DIAGNOSIS 7
When installing the air duct, make sure to move wires out of the way to prevent crushing by air duct.
After pushing the air duct into position, you should hear a click sound. If not, repeat again.
Check to see if there is
a wide gap between air
duct and cabinet.
IF SO, install air duct
again.
Check to make sure latches are inserted into cavities properly.
First, insert top of cover plate into the gap, then bend plate to insert bottom end. Lastly, push middle into slot.
PROCEDURE 6
Clean paint off of brazed joint of drying filter.
Cut off the brazed joint of drying filter.
Cut off capillary and remove the cut end by shaking.
Braze on a new drying- filter.
Inject nitrogen (1.57Mpa) through quick connector into pipe for at least 3 min to blow remaining refrigerant away.
Add quick connector onto processing pipe of drying-filter.
Perform leakage test on brazed joints of drying- filter and compressor processing pipe.
Vacuum and recharge.Please get more details
of vacuuming and gas charging
requirements on Annex B2.
Block processing pipe twice by locking pliers.
Leave locked pliers attached to second block and shake to cut off the remaining pipe.
Braze the ends and remove the pliers.
