CHECK AND TEST 1
Take note of the distance (A) between door and mechanical switch pin when door is closed.
Power on the appliance, and open the fridge door to check if LED is on or off.

Press the mechanical switch pin down for the same distance (A), and check if LED is off or not

Check if top hinge cover is deformed or cracked.
PROCEDURE 1
Unscrew hinge cover.
Remove the cover.
Check if the terminal is connected well or not.
Press the clip of the switch to loosen the switch.
Remove the switch from the hinge cover.

Check if top hinge cover is installed properly.
Hinge cover is upwarped, and misaligned with hinge.
Hinge cover is well aligned with hinge.

Unscrew hinge cover.
Remove the cover.
Check if the terminal is connected well or not.

Take note of the distance (A) between door and mechanical switch pin when door is closed
After powering on the appliance, open the fridge door to check if LED is on or off.
Push the mechanical switch pin to the same distance as step 1 for 5 seconds, and check if LED is off or not

Use multimeter to test the resistance value when switch button is detached.
Use multimeter to test the resistance value when switch pin is pressed down for a distance (A)

PROCEDURE 2
Press the clip of the switch to loosen the switch.
Remove the switch from the hinge cover.
Reverse procedures above in step 1 and 2 to install new mechanical switch and reinstall hinge cover.
CHECK AND TEST 8
Take note of the distance between door and mechanical switch pin when door is closed
After powering on the appliance, open the fridge door to check if LED is on or off.
Push the mechanical switch pin to the same distance as step 1 for 5 seconds, and check if LED is off or not.
