CHECK AND TEST 1

Step 1

Open fridge door to switch on LED LIGHT, if LED is off, proceed to FAULTY LED to find solution.

Step 2

Press button of switch to check if LED LIGHT is on or off.

Insert slotted screw into edge of switch.

Step 2

Lever top edge of switch out.

Step 3

Lever switch out of buckle.

Check the wire connection on switch.

Lever switch out of buckle and disconnect the wires.

Take note of the distance (A) between door and mechanical switch pin when door is closed. 


Step 2

Power on the appliance, and open the fridge door to check if LED is on or not.

to distance (A), and check if LED is off or not

Check if top hinge cover is deformed or cracked.

Unscrew hinge cover. 

Step 2

Remove the cover. 

Step 3

Check if the terminal is connected well or not. 

Step 4

Press the clip of the switch to loosen the switch. 

Step 5

Remove the switch from the hinge cover.

Step 1

Check if top hinge cover is installed properly. 

Improper Condition 

Hinge cover is warped and misaligned with hinge.

Correct Condition 

Hinge cover is well aligned with hinge.

Step 1

Unscrew hinge cover. 

Step 2

Remove the cover. 

Step 3

Check if the terminal is connected well or not.

Step 1

Take note of the distance (A) between door and mechanical switch pin when door is closed 

Step 2

After powering on the appliance, open the fridge door to check if LED is on or off. 

Step 3

Push the mechanical switch pin to the same distance as step 1 for 5 seconds, and check if LED is off or not

CHECK AND TEST 11

Step 1

Use multimeter to test the resistance value when switch button is detached. 

Step 2

Use multimeter to test the resistance value when switch pin is pressed down to distance (A).

PROCEDURE 5


Step 1

Press the clip of the switch to loosen the switch. 

Step 2

Remove the switch from the hinge cover. 

Step 3

Reverse procedures above in step 1 and 2 to install new mechanical switch and reinstall hinge cover. 

CHECK AND TEST 12

Step 1

Take note of the distance between door and mechanical switch pin when door is closed 

Step 2

After powering on the appliance, open the fridge door to check if LED is on or off. 

Step 3

Push the mechanical switch pin to the same distance as step 1 for 5 seconds, and check if LED is off or not
