8.10 RELIABILITY FAULTS

DOOR ALIGNMENT PROBLEMS

Case 1

Gap between fridge door and freezer door is not even.

DIAGNOSIS 1


PROCEDURE 1

Step 1

Unscrew hinge cover.

Step 2

Remove the cover.

Step 3

Disconnect the terminals.

Step 4

Unscrew top hinge.

Step 5

Adjust top hinge to leftside or rightside.

Step 6

Unscrew middle hinge and adjust it to right side or left side.

NOTE


Case 2                                    Fridge door and freezer door are not on the same surface.

DIAGNOSIS 2


PROCEDURE 2

Step 1

Unscrew hinge cover.

Step 2

Remove the cover.

Step 3

Disconnect the terminals.

Step 4

Unscrew top hinge.

Step 5

Move the top hinge inward or outward.

Step 6

Add or remove washer to middle hinge.
