8.5 RELIABILITY FAULTS:

      NOISE WHEN DOOR OPENS AND CLOSES

CHECK AND TEST 1

Step 1

Check to verify whether door and shelves are
in normal position, and whether there is abnormal friction between food packages
and appliance walls.

Step 1

If everything in step 1 is ok, the noise is certainly coming from a hinge.

Step 2

Listen carefully to detect whether noise is coming from top, middle, or bottom hinge.

Step 3

Use a small brush to add Vaseline to hinge pins
and hinge holes. Open and close door several times.

Step 1

Unscrew hinge cover.

Step 2

Remove the cover.

Step 3

Instructions for adjusting hinge.

Step 4

Remove upper door.

Step 5

Unscrew 2 bolts and remove the middle hinge

Step 6

Remove bottom door.

Step 7

Tilt cabinet by 10 degrees.

Step 8

Unscrew the adjustable foot.

Step 9

Unscrew 2 bolts and remove bottom hinge.

Reverse above steps to reinstall hinges and
doors, however, please pay attention to points below.

Tip 1

Don’t forget to add a washer onto hinge pin.

Tip 2

When installing door onto hinge, please
check the alignment of doorstopper and hinge.

Tip 3

Make sure gasket is properly attached.

Tip 4

Make sure gaps between doors are even.
