8.5 RELIABILITY FAULTS:

DOOR STOPPER IS BROKEN

CHECK AND TEST 1

Step 1

Push the door to an
angle of 8° from cabinet,
if the door doesn’t close
automatically, there is a
problem with the door
stopper.



Step 2

Check the alignment
between door aid closer
and hinge to find out root
causes.

PROCEDURE 1



Step 1

Tilt cabinet.

Step 5

Unscrew the adjustable
foot.

Step 3

Unscrew the hinge.

Step 4

Remove bottom hinge.

CHECK AND TEST 2

Step 1

Check to see whether
screw is screwed
correctly into final
position.
If not, rescrew it.

Step 2

Check if the door aid
closer is deformed
and cracked, causing
misalignment.

PROCEDURE 2

Step 1

Unscrew.

Step 2

Remove aid-closer.

Reverse above steps to
install door aid-closer.

Step 1

Check the metal piece is
deformed or not.
