CHECK AND TEST 1
Unscrew cover of mainboard with a Cross-head screwdriver.
In mainboard area, check
if terminal is inserted to
final position.
If not, please reinsert into correct final position.
Power on the appliance, open fridge door, and heat fridge temp. sensor.
Press down fridge mechanical switch.
Put your hand near outlet of fridge air duct to check if damper is working normally or not.
DIAGNOSIS 1
PROCEDURE 1
Remove all freezer drawers.
Remove all freezer shelves.
Unscrew screws (total
of two) on upper freezer
air duct with Cross-head
screw driver.
Catch bottom of air duct upper freezer air duct and pull all buckles (total of 8) down.
Take out upper freezer
air duct by tilting to one
side.
Pay attention to the
connectors when pulling
out the air duct.
Disconnect the terminal for fan motor and move upper freezer air duct away.
CHECK AND TEST 2
Check if terminal is inserted to final position.
If not, reinsert it.
Check if terminal is filled with foam or not.
If yes, use tweezer to clean and remove the foam.
Check if wires of damper are broken or not.
Check if wire order is correct or not.
Pictures on right side shown correct wire order.

Cut the wire.
Peel off the sleeves.
Check to ensure proper wire order and reconnect them.
Tin soldering.
Cover connecting point with electrical tape.
CHECK AND TEST 3
Disconnect terminal of damper.
Observing with an oscilloscope, the signal will be a square wave.
Watch to see if door of damper opens gradually.
Offer signal to dampers.
DIAGNOSIS 3
CHECK AND TEST 4
Set multimeter to resistance gear.
Check if wire connections in foam are correct or not.
DIAGNOSIS 4
When restoring the upper freezer air duct, fasten the wires to avoid crushing them with air duct.
All buckles should be pushed into proper final position. If not, please repeat installation.
CHECK AND TEST 5
Power on the appliance, open fridge door, and heat fridge temp. sensor.
Press down fridge mechanical switch.
Put your hand near outlet of fridge air duct to check if damper is working normally or not.
