CHECK AND TEST 1


 

Step 1

Take note of the distance
(A) between door and
mechanical switch pin when
door is closed.

Step 2

Power on the appliance,
open the door.
Check if LED light is on
or not.

Step 3
Press mechanical switch pin down for the
same distance (A) for 5 seconds.
Check if LED light is off
or not.

CHECK AND TEST 2

Step 1

Check if top hinge cover is deformed or cracked.

PROCEDURE 1


Step 1

Unscrew hinge cover.

Step 2

Remove the cover.

Step 3
Disconnect the terminal
in top hinge cover area.

Step 4

Press the clip of the switch to loosen the
switch.

Step 5

Remove the switch from
the hinge cover.

PROCEDURE 2

CHECK AND TEST 3

Step 1

Check if top hinge cover
is installed properly.

Improper Condition

Hinge cover is warped and misaligned with hinge.

Correct Condition
Hinge cover is well
aligned with hinge.

CHECK AND TEST 4

Step 1

Unscrew hinge cover.

Step 2

Remove the cover.

Step 3

Check if the terminal is connected well or not.
If not, reconnect it.

Step 4

Use multimeter to test the resistance value
when switch button is detached.

Step 5

Use multimeter to test the resistance value
when switch pin is pressed down for a
distance (A)

PROCEDURE 3


Step 1

Press the clip of the switch to loosen the
switch.

Step 2

Remove the switch from the hinge cover.


Reverse above
procedures in step 1
and 2 to install new
mechanical switch and
reinstall hinge cover.

CHECK AND TEST 5

Step 1

Power on the appliance, open the door.
Check if LED light is on or not.

Step 2

Press mechanical
switch pin down down to the same degree (A) for 5 seconds.
Check if LED light is off
or not.
