CHECK AND TEST 1

Step 1

Place a torch on shelf and point light towards gasket.

Step 2

Close freezer door to check if there is any light leaking out.

Step 3

Blow hot air to gasket by hair dryer to soften gasket so that gasket can be attached onto cabinet easily.

PROCEDURE 1


Step 1

Lay the appliance down
on a foam pad.

Step 2

Unscrew top hinge cover
with 8mm inner hexagon
driver and take the cover
out.

Step 3

Use screw driver to push
the buckle inward and
prize the PCB board out.

Step 4

Use screw driver to push
the buckle inward and
prize the wires out.

Step 5

Unscrew top hinge with
8mm inner hexagon driver.

Step 6

Unscrew adjustable feet.

Step 7

Unscrew.

Step 8

Take bottom hinge out.

Step 9

Remove the door.

PROCEDURE 2


Case 1:

Light leaks out from the corner of opening side.

Step 1

Use hinge with large hole
and push outwards.

 

Case 2:

Light leaks out from the

corner of hinge side.

Step 2

Use hinge with large hole
and push inwards.

 

Case 3:

Light leaks out from the
middle of opening side or
hinge side.

Step 3

Use steel ruler to
measure the deformation
of fridge door.
If deformation is more
than 3mm, replace the
fridge door.

 

Step 4

Use steel ruler to
measure the deformation
of cabinet.
If deformation is more
than 3mm, replace the
appliance.


PROCEDURE 2

Tip 1

Make sure gasket is
attached well.
Note: 4 sides must be
checked.
