CHECK AND TEST 1

Step 1

Power on the appliance, measure voltage between phases of compressor with a multimeter.

Step 2

Take note of measured value.

Step 3

Put hand onto compressor for a
few minutes to feel if compressor is jammed or not.

DIAGNOSIS 1

CHECK AND TEST 2

Step 1

Cut off capillary to discharge refrigerant.

Step 2

Cut off suction pipe and exhaust pipe.

Step 3

Power up the compressor and feel the exhaust pressure of the exhaust pipe with a paper.

DIAGNOSIS 1

PROCEDURE 1

Step 1

Unscrew terminal cover.

Step 2

Remove terminal cover.

Step 3

Move out protector and starter.

Step 4

Unscrew earthing wire.

Step 5

Unscrew nut of compressor.

Step 6

Put on a new compressor and fix nuts onto compressor.

Step 7

Braze joints of suction and exhasuting pipes.

Step 8

Clean paint off of brazed joint of drying-filter.

Step 9

Cut off drying-filter.

Step 10

Cut off capillary and remove the cut end by shaking.

Step 11

Braze on a new drying- filter.

Step 12

Re-braze a copper tube onto processing tube of compressor.

To get more details on brazing requirements, please go to page 366

Step 13

Inject nitrogen (1.57Mpa) through quick connector into pipe for at least 3 min to blow left refrigerant away.

Step 14

Add quick connector onto processing pipe of drying-filter.

Step 15

Perform leakage test on brazed joints of drying- filter and compressor processing pipe.

Step 16

Vacuum and recharge.

Please get more details of vacuuming and gas- charging requirements on page 313

Step 17

Block processing pipe twice by locking pliers.

Step 18

Left locking pliers on the second blocking and cut off the rest pipe by shaking.

Step 19

Weld the ends and remove the pliers away.

CHECK AND TEST 3

DIAGNOSIS 1

Performance Testing Procedures and Assessment Criteria.

1. Sensor position: Freezer: geometric center of freezer compartment.

2. Test time: 30min to 60min.

3. Stop Gear: compressor-stopping gear must be above the gear listed on the table.

4. Temperature drop must be no less than the value on the table.
