CHECK AND TEST 1

Step 1

Open fridge door to switch on LED LIGHT, if LED is off, proceed to LED FAULT to find out solution.

Step 2

Open freezer door to same degree with fridge door.

PROCEDURE 1

Step 1

Use 2mm slotted screwdriver to lever the cover off.

Step 2

Move the cover away from the buckle.

Step 3

Disconnect the terminal and take out the switch.

CHECK AND TEST 2

Step 1

Check to see if the terminal is connected well or not.

Step 2

Attach magnetic bar to magnetic switch.

Step 3

Use multimeter to test the resistance value.

Step 4

Take note of the value.

DIAGNOSIS 2

NOTE
Result 0 depends on measure range of multimeter. Recommended set measurement range is at least 2K ohms. 


PROCEDURE 2

Step 1

Carefully place switch in trough to avoid damage.

Step 2

Insert the pin into buckle.

Step 3

Push the cover in.

CHECK AND TEST 3

Put a small bolt near edge of magnetic area. The magnetic force of the magnetic bar in
top of freezer door should move the bolt to center of door.

Step 1

Unscrew hinge cover.

Step 2

Remove the cover.

Step 3

Disconnect the terminals.

Step 4

Unscrew 3 bolts and remove the top hinge.

Step 5

Remove fridge door.

Step 6

Loosen the middle hinge and remove it.

Step 7

Remove freezer door.

CHECK AND TEST 4

Step 1

Press button of switch to check if LED LIGHT is on or off.

Step 1

Insert slotted screw into edge of switch. 

Step 2

Lever top edge of switch out. 

Step 3

Lever switch out of buckle.

Step 4 

Polish any scratches during disassembly and insert switch into the hole.

Tip 1

Don’t forget to add washer onto hinge pin. 

Tip 2

When installing door
on the hinge, please check to ensure proper alignment of door-stopper and hinge.

Tip 3

Ensure gasket is attached properly. 

Tip 4

Ensure gaps between doors are even.
